Plain-language summary

Tahmir processes account and technical information plus the website URLs or files you submit so it can build and support WordPress drafts. Do not upload confidential, personal, sensitive, or regulated information unless you have authority and the Service is appropriate for that data.

1. Scope and who is responsible

This Privacy Policy describes how Tahmir AI handles personal information when you visit the website, contact Tahmir, use the WordPress plugin, submit a website for conversion, create a preview or draft, purchase a plan, or request support (collectively, the “Service”).

The Tahmir provider named on the relevant order confirmation, invoice, or payment record is responsible for personal information connected with that transaction. Send privacy questions and requests to contact@tahmir.com.

2. Information we may collect

Account and contact information

This can include your name, work contact details, role, organization, account identifiers, login-related data, plan, license status, and communication preferences.

Billing and transaction information

This can include the selected plan, website allowance, payment status, invoice information, billing country, and payment reference. Card and bank information may be collected directly by a payment provider rather than stored by Tahmir.

Website source and conversion content

This can include public URLs; uploaded HTML or ZIP files; website copy, media, links, navigation, forms, metadata, styles, scripts, and page structure; WordPress draft content; conversion settings; previews; and review notes that you provide or create through the Service.

Plugin and WordPress information

This can include a site URL, WordPress and PHP versions, plugin version, compatibility details, license checks, feature settings, conversion status, errors, and other technical information needed to operate or support the plugin.

Usage and device information

This can include IP address, device and browser, operating system, viewed pages, referral page, timestamps, feature use, approximate IP-based location, diagnostics, security events, and cookie or similar identifiers where used.

Support and communications

This can include emails, support requests, attachments, troubleshooting material, feedback, and Tahmir’s replies.

3. Where information comes from

Information may come directly from you; an authorized user, employer, client, or agency; the WordPress plugin; a public site or file you submit; browsers, servers, security systems, and logs; or providers used for hosting, payments, communication, analytics, and technical operations.

4. How we use information

  • Provide, authenticate, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Import submitted sources and produce previews, conversions, and WordPress drafts.
  • Administer plans, licenses, allowances, payments, and accounts.
  • Answer support, billing, product, and legal questions.
  • Detect misuse, secure accounts, investigate incidents, and protect reliability.
  • Diagnose conversion problems and improve compatibility, usability, and quality.
  • Send service notices, license messages, security alerts, and legally permitted product communications.
  • Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect rights and safety.

5. Legal bases where required

Where a legal basis is required, Tahmir may process information to perform a contract; pursue legitimate interests in operating, protecting, supporting, and improving the Service; act with your consent; comply with law; or protect legal rights. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing that was lawful beforehand.

6. Website content and your responsibilities

You choose the URLs, files, pages, and WordPress sites submitted to the Service. They can contain personal information about staff, customers, visitors, or other people. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and providing any notices or obtaining any permissions required to submit and process that information.

Do not intentionally provide passwords, secret keys, payment-card data, medical information, official identifiers, children’s data, or other sensitive or regulated material unless Tahmir has expressly confirmed in writing that the Service is suitable for it.

7. AI and automated processing

Some functionality may use automation or AI to inspect page structure, build drafts, suggest changes, or help with conversion. When required for a requested feature, submitted content may be processed by service providers acting for Tahmir. Providers and availability can change as the product develops; contact Tahmir before submitting sensitive material if you need current information about a particular workflow.

Website-conversion features do not make decisions about people that have legal or similarly significant effects. You remain responsible for checking all generated and converted output.

8. When information may be shared

Information may be shared with providers supporting hosting, storage, security, payments, communications, customer service, analytics, error monitoring, AI processing, and other technical work; with professional advisers; with the organization controlling your account; in connection with financing, a merger, acquisition, or asset sale; or when disclosure is legally required or reasonably needed to protect the Service, rights, or safety.

Service providers may use information only to deliver their services to Tahmir, subject to their agreements and applicable law. Hosts, plugins, forms, analytics, and integrations you choose for a final WordPress site operate under their own privacy terms.

9. International processing

Tahmir and its providers may process information outside your country. Where required, Tahmir will use an approved transfer method or another lawful safeguard. Contact Tahmir for information relevant to your account and location.

10. Retention

Account, transaction, support, security, and service records are kept for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, meet recordkeeping duties, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, and protect the Service. Retention can differ for uploaded files, previews, conversion artifacts, backups, and logs based on feature operation, plan, support, security, and legal needs.

When information is no longer necessary, Tahmir may delete or anonymize it, or retain it only where the law or legitimate recordkeeping requires. Backup copies can remain temporarily until overwritten.

11. Security

Tahmir uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to prevent unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service, plugin, transmission, or storage system can be completely secure. You are responsible for protecting WordPress administrator accounts, selecting suitable hosting and access controls, maintaining software updates and backups, and limiting uploaded information.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

The website or Service may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, licensing, analytics, and performance. Browser controls may let you remove or block some technologies, but this can stop features from working. Where required, optional cookies will be subject to an appropriate consent choice.

13. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, or review of certain processing, and you may have the right to complain to a regulator. Applicable law can limit these rights, and Tahmir may need to verify your identity.

Email contact@tahmir.com with enough account and request information to respond. If Tahmir handles information only for an agency, client, or other account owner, you may be directed to that organization.

14. Children

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children. Do not create an account or submit a child’s personal information unless you are legally authorized to do so.

15. Third-party links and services

The Tahmir website and converted drafts can link to hosts, plugins, payment providers, websites, and other third-party services. Those parties control their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.

16. Changes to this Policy

Tahmir may revise this Privacy Policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. The revision date will appear above, and Tahmir will provide additional notice of material changes when required.

17. Contact

For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, email contact@tahmir.com.
